Jim Nilsson of Geissler’s Supermarkets has been named "Business Person of the Year" by the East Windsor Chamber of Commerce.
Nilsson was chosen for his "community spirit and his support of the community via youth groups, The 5 Corner Cupboard & the East Windsor Education Foundation to name a few," reads a statement on the chamber's Web site.
Nilsson will be honored on Wednesday, June 12 at a ceremony at Merlot on the Water in Broad Brook scheduled for 5:30 p.m.
