Windsor Locks Public Works Employees Trained In CPR, Narcan, Bleeding Control

WINDSOR LOCKS, CT — Workers from Windsor Locks Public Works and the Water Pollution Control Authority recently completed emergency medical training, according to a social media post from the department.

Officials said the training included first aid, CPR, AED use, Stop the Bleed techniques, and Narcan administration. The sessions help meet required safety rules and prepare staff to act quickly if someone is hurt or experiences a medical emergency.

Town officials said they hope the skills are never needed, but emphasized that crews must be ready to respond if the situation arises.
