East Windsor Motorcyclist Dies Of Crash Injuries
A fatal collision between a motorcycle and a tractor trailer took place on Route 5 in South Windsor shortly before 7 p.m. Sunday.

SOUTH WINDSOR, CT — An early evening crash on Route 5 northbound in South Windsor Sunday between a motorcycle and a tractor trailer resulted in the death of an East Windsor resident who was operating the motorcycle.
Norman Poulin, 60, was taken to an area hospital with serious injuries, and later died. The collision is still under investigation, and police are asking any witnesses to contact them, Sgt. Mark Cleverdon said.
The crash took place around 6:55 p.m. just south of the intersection of John Fitch Boulevard and Chapel Road. Investigators from the South Windsor Police Department and Metro Traffic Services closed the road for more than four hours while reconstructing the crash, Cleverdon said.
