East Windsor Police Launch New Resource For Residents

The new online form helps first responders prepare for emergencies, officials say.

EAST WINDSOR, CT — The East Windsor Police Department has launched a new registry to help first responders access critical information about residents during emergencies, according to a social media post from the department.

The online form allows residents to voluntarily share details about household members with mental health concerns, physical disabilities, Alzheimer’s or dementia, autism, mobility limitations, hearing or vision impairments, or other medical needs.

Submitted information is confidential and entered into the department’s CAD system so dispatchers can alert responding personnel when they are headed to an address with a noted concern.
