A Look At Windsor Locks, East Windsor's Fall Team Title Histories, 2025 Schedules

WINDSOR LOCKS-EAST WINDSOR, CT — Monday marked the first day for official workouts for high school fall sports programs across Connecticut, with the exception of golf which began practices last week (full contact is permitted at football practices beginning this weekend). With the coming of the new season comes the hope for success, with the ultimate goal being winning a state championship.

Windsor Locks High School's six fall state titles, all in boys soccer, date back to 1963, while East Windsor is seeking its first fall team championship.

Here are the state championships won by Windsor Locks teams in autumns past:

• boys soccer (6) - S: 1994, 1990; M: 1971, 1970, 1964, 1963

Several new head coaches will be patrolling the sidelines for the Raiders and Panthers. Andrew Norige takes over the reins of the Windsor Locks/Suffield/East Granby tri-op football program, and Emma Sands is the new Windsor Locks girls volleyball coach. At East Windsor, the girls soccer team has become a co-op with Bloomfield, and Shanna Custer will be the head coach.
