Fallen Tree Causes Road Closure In East Windsor: UPDATED
A downed tree knocked out power lines on Rice Road in East Windsor.
EAST WINDSOR, CT - A fallen tree across Rice Road took some power lines with it late Friday afternoon, prompting detours to be set up.
The area of Rice and Old Wells roads, between Harrington and Wells roads, is closed to traffic.
Around 6:15 p.m., a truck from a tree service company arrived on scene.

A spokesman estimated power would be out in the area until at least 2:45 a.m.
