Fatal Crash Closes Roads In East Windsor: Police: UPDATE
Police advised drivers to avoid the area and seek alternate routes.
EAST WINDSOR, CT — One person was killed after their vehicle crashed into a tree near 119 Chamberlain Road on Sunday, police said.
At 10:30 a.m., police responded to the crash scene. Police said they found a vehicle that "had left the roadway and entered a wood lined area, striking a tree."
The car was occupied by two people and the driver was unconscious and not breathing, while the passenger, although conscious, appeared to have sustained several serious physical injuries, police said.

"At this time, it appeared that the operator may have sustained a medical emergency while driving," police said.
The driver was pronounced dead, and the passenger is in critical condition. The crash is under investigation and a victim ID has not yet been released

As of 12:40 p.m., Chamberlain Road at Windsorville Road was closed, as was Thrall Road, according to police, who advised drivers to avoid the area and seek alternate routes.
