Fatal Crash In Windsor Locks Claims Life Of Massachusetts Man: State Police
A fatal crash on an Interstate 91 off-ramp occurred shortly before noon Thursday, according to state police.

WINDSOR LOCKS, CT — A Massachusetts resident was killed late Thursday morning when the car he was driving veered off a highway ramp and struck a tree, according to Connecticut State Police.
Around 11:43 a.m., a 2007 Cadillac STS operated by Carlos Sosa, 74, of Granby, Mass., was traveling south on Interstate 91 at the Exit 40 off-ramp when the car veered across the left shoulder into a grassy area, where it struck a tree. Sosa was pronounced dead at the scene, state police said.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation, and anyone with information, particularly those with a vehicle equipped with a dashcam who may have been traveling in the area at the time, is asked to contact Trooper Michael Dean at 860-534-1098, or via email at michael.dean@ct.gov.
