Fire Department Personnel Aid In Freeing Stuck Horse In East Windsor
The elderly equine had slipped and fallen into a position where it was unable to get back up without assistance from local first responders.

EAST WINDSOR, CT — First responders from several agencies banded together Tuesday morning for a unique assignment - freeing a stuck horse which had slipped and fallen.
Around 10:20 a.m., the horse's owner reported it had fallen into a position where, due to its age and terrains, it was unable to get up on its own. Personnel from the Broad Brook and Warehouse Point fire departments provided manpower to assist the owner, and the equine was gently dragged up a hill until it was able to rise on its own.
The horse did not sustain any injuries.
