Frontier Airlines To Debut Nonstop Service From Windsor Locks To Tampa

WINDSOR LOCKS, CT — Travelers looking for direct flights from Bradley International Airport to Florida's Sun Coast will soon have a low-fare option, as Frontier Airlines has announced plans for nonstop service between Connecticut and Tampa International Airport. Flights will begin on March 7, 2024, and operate four times a week.

Kevin A. Dillon, Executive Director of the Connecticut Airport Authority, said, "Thanks to Frontier Airlines for introducing more low-cost flights at Bradley International Airport. We greatly appreciate their addition of nonstop service to Tampa and look forward to our continued partnership in bringing exciting new routes and great travel deals to our region."

"Frontier’s growing operation at Bradley is fabulous news for consumers in the greater Hartford and Springfield region— who now have a convenient and affordable option to visit Tampa and explore the area’s beaches and numerous attractions," Frontier Airlines vice president of network and operations design Josh Flyr said.

Currently, travel on Frontier Airlines can be booked through August 2024. Frontier also flies between Bradley International Airport and San Juan, Orlando and Raleigh-Durham.
