Hundreds Flock To National Night Out Event In East Windsor [PHOTOS]

EAST WINDSOR, CT — The annual National Night Out event Tuesday drew hundreds of residents to East Windsor Park, where camaraderie between first responders, municipal employees and the community at-large was on full display.

The community-building campaign, coordinated by members of the East Windsor Police Department, promotes police and community partnerships. Families came out to interact with police, firefighters and members of civic organizations. Veteran band DriveTime had the place rocking, and family fun was aplenty.

Det. Dan Tessier said, "We're pushing for a better relationship with our amazing community here. It's a great chance to meet all the companies, the citizens, the residents here and enjoy the nice night."
