Good morning, Windsor Locks and East Windsor! Today is Thursday, April 18, 2013; there are 257 days left in the year.

Friends, herein lies the dichotomy of humor. I think the following K-Mart commercial is hilarious. Sophomoric, but hilarious.

My wife, on the other hand, thinks its stupid.

1. The East Windsor Planning and Zoning Commission has a special meeting at 4 p.m. at Town Hall.

2. The East Windsor BMX Skate Park Commission meets tonight at 6:30 p.m. at Park Hill Community Center.

3. The East Windsor American Heritage River Commission meets tonight at 7 p.m. at Warehouse Point Library.

4. The East Windsor softball and baseball teams take on SMSA today at 4 p.m. The softball team is home, the baseball team is on the road.

5. The Windsor Locks High baseball team takes on East Granby WAY on the road in Florida at 7 p.m., while the girls tennis team faces Enfield closer to home, but still on the road at 4 p.m.
