WINDSOR LOCKS-EAST WINDSOR, CT — Here are some recent notable accomplishments by local college students, as provided by readMedia Newswire. More great feats will be noted as they are received in the coming weeks.

Southern New Hampshire University, Manchester NH

  • Walter Czyzniak, Erica Burns, Christin Smigielski and Sharon Bostock, all of Windsor Locks,were named to the fall 2024 President's List. The fall terms run from September to December.
    Full-time undergraduate students who have earned a minimum grade-point average of 3.700 and above for the reporting term are named to the President's List. Full-time status is achieved by earning 12 credits over each 16-week term or paired 8-week terms grouped in fall, winter/spring, and summer.
  • Tiffany Lubanski of East Windsor has been named to SNHU's fall 2024 Dean's List. Full-time undergraduate students who have earned a minimum grade-point average of 3.500 to 3.699 for the reporting term are named to the Dean's List. Full-time status is achieved by earning 12 credits over each 16-week term or paired 8-week terms grouped in fall, winter/spring, and summer.

  • A number of area residents made the dean's list at UConn for the fall 2024 semester. From Windsor Locks: Ashley Dearborn, Keshya Dharmaratne, Heet Faldu, Jacqueline Malecki, Sheridan Mcguire, Abhinav Meka, Jeel Patel, Joseph Rivera, Om Sinojia, Natalia Suchedina, Wan Tam. From East Windsor: Chloe Cassista, Matthew Emerson, Sophi Schuler, Mary Turner, Shamaem Butt.

Western New England University, Springfield MA

  • Seven students from Windsor Locks and one from Broad Brook were named to the President's List for the fall 2024 semester. They are Alexa Adams, Hannah Duncan, Isabella White, Kayla Ledoux, Maddox Judson, Matthew Houde and Sydney Shepard, all of Windsor Locks, and Megan Noone of Broad Brook. Students are named to the President's List for achieving a semester grade point average of 3.80 or higher.
  • Jacqueline Brown of Windsor Locks has been named to the Dean's List for the fall 2024 semester. Brown is one of over 750 students to achieve this mark of academic excellence. Students are named to the Dean's List for achieving a semester grade point average of 3.30 or higher. Brown is working toward a BS in criminal justice.
