HARTFORD-TOLLAND COUNTIES, CT — No one is perfect, but it is disheartening to see a business fork out good money to have a sign made, only to discover misspellings after the fact.

Mistakes have been found on all types of signs, ranging from pricey professionally-produced business banners to menus to crude handwritten cardboard signs installed with duct tape, seen in various towns mainly in Hartford and Tolland counties.

Misspelled words in today's collection include "pankcakes," "emralds," "sandwitch," "indepence," "assitant" and my personal favorite, "launromat."

Rhode Islanders will cringe at the massacre of Narragansett.
Apparently there is no T available with breakfast.
Wouldn't you normally buy a diary at a bookstore, not a convenience store?
3 for 3 on this one.
The above two should have gotten together.
Was Will Mantic the mayor or something?
