Sports Betting Coming To Windsor Locks Soon; Now Legal In CT
In addition to online gambling, the public can soon place bets at the Windsor Locks Bobby V's and 14 other locations throughout Connecticut.

WINDSOR LOCKS, CT — As of today, online sports betting is legal in Connecticut — and soon, a Windsor Locks restaurant will be one of 15 establishments statewide to offer sports gambling.
Online sports wagering officially launched in Connecticut at 6 a.m. Tuesday morning after it received approval to move forward upon completion of a seven-day soft launch, NBC Connecticut reported.
Anyone 21 years old or older can gamble using three online platforms, and soon Bobby V's Restaurant & Sports Bar in Windsor Locks will be among a handful of venues to offer in-person betting, CT News Junkie reported.

The Connecticut Lottery can open a maximum of 15 retail sportsbooks, and the Windsor Locks Bobby V's was chosen as one of the locations for them, according to ActionNetwork.com.
Officials have not yet announced the opening of retail sportsbooks at Bobby V's or any of the other 14 businesses chosen, ActionNetwork.com said.

The Bobby V's location in Stamford was also selected, as were Sports Haven in New Haven and the Winners locations in Hartford, Manchester, Milford, New Britain, Norwalk, Torrington and Waterbury, according to CT News Junkie.
