Standouts On Campus: Windsor Locks, East Windsor College Students

Clark University, Worcester MA

• Abby Thurston Gallagher, of Windsor Locks, was named to second honors on the Clark University Dean's List. This selection marks outstanding academic achievement during the fall 2023 semester. Students must have a GPA of 3.8 or above for first honors or a GPA between 3.50 and 3.79 for second honors.

Goodwin University, East Hartford CT

• Goodwin University's President's List for the fall 2023 session includes 367 students, all of whom scored a perfect 4.0 GPA. Among them are Shawn Dowd, Ywiahatt Johnson, Scarlette Lowderback and Tyrone Reid, all of Windsor Locks, and Nicole Bowden of East Windsor.
• Windsor Locks residents Jennifer Clark and Abrianna Ridley achieved Dean's List status for the fall 2023 session. Dean's List inclusion requires a student to earn a minimum 3.5 GPA, the equivalent of an A- average, during a given academic session. The student must also be enrolled in a minimum of six academic credits to qualify.

University of Hartford, West Hartford CT

• The University of Hartford congratulates the six local students who have been named to the President's List for fall 2023. They are Grace Canon, Merna Gouda, AJ McGrath, Savannah Nelson and Gavin Stone, all of Windsor Locks, and Kylar Maldonado of East Windsor. The President's List is made up of an extremely select group of students who earned a grade point average of 3.75 or higher in the semester.
