Students From Windsor Locks And East Windsor Shine On College Campuses

Clark University, Worcester MA

• Abby Thurston Gallagher, of Windsor Locks, was named to second honors on the Clark University Dean's List. This selection marks outstanding academic achievement during the spring 2024 semester. Students must have a GPA between 3.50 and 3.79 for second honors.

University of Hartford, West Hartford CT

• The University of Hartford is pleased to announce that Kylar Maldonado of East Windsor has been named to the President's List for the spring 2024 semester. To be placed on the President's List, students must maintain a GPA of at least a 3.75 and receive grades of C or better.

University of Tampa, Tampa FL

• Rachel Lee, of Broad Brook, graduated from the University of Tampa. Lee received a Bachelor of Science degree in sport management. The commencement ceremony honored 1,717 undergraduate and graduate candidates.

Western New England University, Springfield MA

• Western New England University held its graduate commencement ceremony on May 19 at the MassMutual Center, celebrating the Class of 2024. Marlana J. Haas of Windsor Locks graduated with a MS in engineering management, and Tasneem T. Khedr of Windsor Locks graduated with a Juris Doctor.
• Western New England University held its undergraduate commencement ceremony on May 19 at the MassMutual Center. Joseph Matthew Kowalski of Broad Brook graduated magna cum laude with a BS in actuarial science, and a minor in computer science. Jarod Craig Witzke of Broad Brook graduated cum laude with a BSE in mechanical engineering. Joshua A. Conniff of Windsor Locks graduated magna cum laude with a BSBA in management & leadership, and a minor in marketing.
• Five local students were named to the President's List for the spring 2024 semester. They are Megan Noone of Broad Brook, working toward a BA in psychology; Joseph Kowalski of Broad Brook, working toward a BS in actuarial science; Sydney Shepard of Windsor Locks, working toward a BS in criminal justice; Alexa Adams of Windsor Locks, working toward a BSBA in business analytics & information management; and Joshua Conniff of Windsor Locks, working toward a BSBA in management & leadership.
• Three local students were named to the Dean's List for the spring 2024 semester.
