I’m writing this letter of support on behalf of Councilman Matt Despard who is campaigning for state Representative from Enfield/East Windsor.
My wife Bobbie and I raised our children here and sent them through the Enfield School System.My wife and I were both teachers here and as parents we know the value of a good education. And having served as your state Representative for 16 years, I know the need and the value of good representation. I know that Matt will offer that representation and that he will work to give our kids the best education possible.
Matt is an independent minded individual who works well together with both Democrats and Republicans on the Town Council. I want someone representing us in Hartford who has a strong commitment to our children and to our community and who has the ability to get things done for our town and for our state. There is no doubt that Matt Despard can do just that.
