Valentine's Day Weddings, Renewals Offered At Windsor Locks Town Hall

WINDSOR LOCKS, CT — To assure never forgetting one's wedding anniversary, and in the spirit of the romantic nature of Saint Valentine's Day, the town of Windsor Locks is providing the opportunity for couples to exchange or renew their wedding vows.

On Wednesday, Feb. 14 from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., couples may utilize the services of justice of the peace John Ferrari at the Windsor Locks town clerk's office. The only cost is $50 for the state application, and the day includes treats donated by Moneta Moments Bakery. Second Poquonock Grinder and Pizza Shop will be donating a Valentine's Day pizza to one lucky couple.

In 2023, about 20 couples were married in the town clerk's office, with three opting to take advantage of the special offer on Valentine's Day, according to Assistant Town Clerk Alexis Ratti.

Vow renewal ceremonies may also be booked for the same low rate.
