EAST WINDSOR, CT — Last week's Visions for Vacancies column highlighted available commercial space in Sofia's Plaza, next to Sanditz Travel Agency. Several dozen suggestions were made as to the best use of the site.

Several people put forth national chains, such s CVS and Starbucks. Others were less specific, including:

  • bakery
  • bistro
  • card and gift shop
  • computer store
  • fabric store
  • gym (24 hours, non-chain)
  • ice cream shop
  • kids drop-in play area
  • Military surplus store
  • needlework store
  • New Haven-style pizza
  • pie diner
  • vegan restaurant
