Windsor Locks Democrats Endorse Candidates For Municipal Elected Offices
Voters will cast their ballots for First Selectman, selectman, Board of Finance, Board of Education and other town positions on Nov. 4.

WINDSOR LOCKS — A mix of experienced candidates and political newcomers has been endorsed by the Windsor Locks Democratic Town Committee (WLDTC) for spots on the ballot in the November municipal election.
At the top of the ticket is Jon Savino, a current selectman who is seeking the post of First Selectman. Mark Whitten, a U.S. Air Force veteran with eight years' experience on the Board of Finance, is also running for a selectman seat.
“I love this town and I’m proud to serve,” Savino said.

Other endorsed candidates for public office are:
- Board of Education: Amber Mortensen-Hurdle, Greg Guyette
- Board of Finance: Sean Twitchell, Robert Shepard
- Town Treasurer: Cindy Cooper
- Zoning Board of Appeals: Ashley Pease, Neal Cunningham
- Police Commission: Roy Zettlemoyer, Luis Vazquez
- Fire Commission: Roy Zettlemoyer, Mark Whitten
- Park Commission: Patrick Roy, Amber Mortensen-Hurdle
- Sewer Commission: Brenda Wojtas, Peggy Sayers
- Constables: Alan Gannuscio, Shane O’Connor, Kevin Gannuscio, Bill Hamel
WLDTC Chair Peggy Sayers said, "It’s time for change. These candidates bring real-world experience, compassion and a shared commitment to making Windsor Locks a better place for everyone."
