Windsor Locks Releases 2026 Recycling Collection Schedule

WINDSOR LOCKS, CT — The Town of Windsor Locks has released its 2026 recycling collection calendar, according to a social media post by public works officials.

Recycling will continue on an every-other-week schedule, with pickup occurring during the shaded weeks shown on the town calendar.

When a holiday falls on a weekday, recycling collection will be delayed one day for the remainder of that week. (No delays occur when a holiday lands on a Saturday.)

Bulk items will be collected every Tuesday, while metal and freon on the 4th Friday of each month.

Residents must call All American Waste at 860-289-7850 by noon the day before their scheduled collection to arrange a pickup.

The town also reminds residents to place barrels curbside by 6 a.m. on collection day and to keep them clear of the roadway.
