WINDSOR LOCKS, CT —The holiday season just got a bit brighter - or at least, a bit heavier in the purse - for a New Haven resident who won a $100,000 prize on a CT Lottery scratch ticket.

The winner, identified only as Lizet V, stopped at the Airport Shell on Route 75 and invested in the state's first $50 scratch game, $4,000,000 Fortune. The winnings were claimed Thursday, according to the CT Lottery website.

The CT Lottery routinely publishes winnings of $10,000 or more as public record.
