• DNREC orders sensors installed at Delaware City refinery (wdel.com) — Delaware City residents should know that state environmental regulators have ordered the Delaware City Refining Company to quickly install fence line sensors after a butane release turned out larger than first reported. DNREC says there’s no current public threat but notes this is the refinery’s third significant environmental incident this year and wants future releases detected sooner with data visible to the community.
