• Millsboro promotes veteran officer David Moyer to police chief (wboc.com) — Millsboro has promoted longtime officer and deputy chief David Moyer to lead the town’s police department, bringing 17 years of local experience into the top job. A Marine Corps veteran with extensive investigative and leadership training, Moyer plans to meet individually with every officer and deepen community partnerships as he works to make Millsboro’s force a model agency in the county.
   

• Delmarva Catholic Men's Fellowship conference wins approval from Bishop Koenig, set for October 2026 at Saint Mark's High school (thedialog.org) — A Millsboro resident is spearheading a new Delmarva Catholic Men’s Fellowship conference, aiming to draw men from Delaware and Maryland’s Eastern Shore for a day of faith and reflection. Set for October 3, 2026 at Saint Mark’s High School in Wilmington, the event will feature talks on “authentic masculinity,” breakout sessions, confessions, and a closing Mass with Bishop Koenig.
