Polytech 13 Cape Henlopen 11 It was a back and forth battle all day between these two teams. Four homreuns were hit between the two teams today. The Panthers came out on top in the end. Rachel Carey led the Panthers with 5 RBI off of two doubles and Julia MacConnell added 3 RBIs. MacConnell hit her second Home Run of the year and added in a double. Carey, MacConnell, Hannah Megonigal, and Cheyenne Silves had two hits each. Mara Everton started the game and came away with the win, striking out 8 in 5 1/3 innings. Silves pitched 1 2/3 innings in relief, giving up 1 hit and 2 runs, 1 earned.
