1. Rate adjustment, continuing system improvements in store for Delmarva natural gas customers (wdel.com) — Natural gas customers in northern Delaware, including Wilmington, will see delivery rates rise about 3% — roughly $2 a month — starting January 1 to fund system upgrades. Delmarva Power says recent improvements, including at its Wilmington liquefied natural gas facility, have already cut energy supply costs and helped reduce gas leaks, with ongoing pipe replacement aimed at further boosting safety and reliability.
   

2. Police Seek Wilmington Man in Child Sex Case That Spans State Lines (mychesco.com) — Police in Kennett Square, Pennsylvania are asking for help locating a man they say lives in Wilmington who is wanted on multiple felony charges involving alleged inappropriate contact with a minor. Authorities have issued an arrest warrant, shared a physical description, and urge anyone with information to call Kennett Square Police rather than approach him. All charges remain allegations at this stage.
   

3. Archmere Academy appoints 1989 alumnus Daniel Hickey its next head of school (thedialog.org) — A familiar face to Wilmington’s education community, longtime Tower Hill School leader Daniel Hickey has been chosen as the next head of Archmere Academy in nearby Claymont, starting July 2026. Hickey’s deep local roots, including years teaching and coaching in Wilmington, and his work strengthening Catholic education shaped the board’s decision as Archmere transitions from retiring head Michael Marinelli.
   

4.
