FLORIDA — The ten most dangerous beaches in the country are located right here in Florida, according to a new analysis.
A new study by weather website Tides Chart analyzed 528 beaches across the United States and focused on three main factors to determine which beaches were most dangerous: surf zone fatalities, shark attacks and hurricanes.
Each beach was scored out of 100 to determine its overall risk.

According to the analysis, New Smyrna Beach ranked as the most dangerous beach in the U.S. with a score of 76.92.
