  • “Opalite”
  • “Father Figure”
  • “Eldest Daughter”
  • “Ruin the Friendship”
  • “Actually Romantic”
  • “Wi$h Li$t”

Although the new album doesn’t focus solely on Kelce, she said on the “New Heights” podcast that it does explore public scrutiny surrounding their relationship and “everything that was going on behind the curtain” during her Eras Tour.

Swift, a Philadelphia-area native, announced her engagement to the Kansas City Chiefs star in a late August Instagram post that sparked reactions from her new extended family and the Philly sports faithful alike.

As Patch previously reported, Swift has long held an unusual place in Philly sports fandom. Beloved for her local connection to her hometown of Reading, she sang the national anthem before a Phillies World Series game in 2008. She also performed at Sixers and Reading Phillies games long before she was a star. For years, she was seen out and about around the world wearing Eagles gear.

When she began dating Travis, the connection wasn't severed, just made more confused. Jason had, by then, established himself into an Eagles franchise legend and such a larger-than-life figure that it almost more deeply incorporated Swift into the Philly sports world.

But there was a growing rift of mutual animosity between Philly and Kansas City following the Birds loss in Super Bowl 57, and while Jason remained a prominent figure in the Eagles organization and the NFL after his 2024 retirement, his departure from the team and the 2025 Super Bowl rematch with Kansas City served to underline the split between Swift and Philly.
