FL Deputies Rescue Man Trapped In Submerged Car: WATCH

Deputies were forced to break the window to remove the man from the submerged car, authorities said.

ST. JOHN'S COUNTY, FL — Body-worn camera footage captured the moment St. John's County deputies quickly leapt into action to rescue a man trapped in a submerged car.

On Nov. 18, the St. John's County Sheriff's Office said deputies performed the rescue after the man accidentally drove his vehicle into a pond at the Southeast Library Branch in St. Augustine.

Deputies were forced to break the window to remove the man from the submerged car, authorities said. He was then pulled to shore.
