FL Mall Shooting Person Of Interest Sought By Police
A man was killed and a woman was injured in the attack, which police believe may have been targeted.

OCALA, FL — Police overnight released images of a person of interest in the Florida mall shooting that left a man dead and a woman injured Saturday.
The person who may be connected to the deadly attack at Paddock Mall in Ocala was wearing a red baseball hat, a camouflage neck warmer and black clothing with white sneakers, the picture showed.
David Nathaniel Barron, 40, was killed and a woman suffered injuries that were not life-threatening, according to police, who said the gunman may have targeted the victims and that the shooter fled after the attack.

Authorities responded to the mall around 3:40 p.m. for an active shooting report, police said, adding Barron was found dead in a common area and the woman was taken to a hospital. The mall was evacuated, according to police.
Anyone who recognizes the person of interest is asked to call police at 352-369-7000 or submit an anonymous tip to Crime Stoppers of Marion County at 352-368-7867 or OcalaCrimeStoppers.com. Crime Stoppers tipsters with information leading to an arrest may be eligible for a reward of up to $3,000, police said.
