FL Tourist Destination No. 1 On ‘Top Attractions’ List

BREVARD COUNTY, FL — A central Florida tourist destination was named the No. 1 “Top Attractions” in the United States, according to the latest TripAdvisor Travelers’ Choice Awards.

From natural wonders to man-made marvels, these are the most-loved attractions in the world—according to the travelers who ‘ooh-ed’ and 'ahh-ed' at them.

The NASA Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex in Merritt Island in Brevard County nabbed the top spot on the list.

“Explore the Kennedy Space Center, where you’ll see the space shuttle Atlantis, walk among rockets in the Rocket Garden, and possibly meet an astronaut. Interactive exhibits and an IMAX theater bring space exploration to life,” according to the destination’s TripAdvisor listing.

Other Florida destinations on the list of 25 were:

• No. 6 - John Pennekamp Coral Reef State Park in Key Largo
