How do you know the local hero?

Neighbor

What does the local hero do?

He does everything for anyone. He visits the sick and shops for those who can't pay or can't get to the store. He will buy strangers a meal. He helps any neighbor with household and yard work. He even cooks for them. I am disabled and he would do anything I might need done. By the way, Sam is 83 years young

Why do you believe the local hero should be recognized or honored?

He would do anything for anyone. Our neighbor, who is disabled — his wife passed away last year. Sam went over every morning to bring him coffee and keep him company. He asked him every day what he may need from the store. He took him to his doctor's visits. He does so many things and helps out so many people.

What's one thing you want everyone to know about the local hero?

He is an angel sent from Fod to serve mankind without ever asking for himself.

Thank you for all you do, Sam Vicchy!
