1 Cat Killed, Family And Other Pets Survive Mobile Home Fire In Ruskin
A cat was killed, but the family and two other cats survived a mobile home fire Saturday afternoon at 600 Sundrop Circle in Ruskin.
RUSKIN, FL — A cat was killed but the family and two other cats survived a mobile home fire Saturday afternoon at 600 Sundrop Circle in Ruskin, authorities said.
Hillsborough County Fire Rescue was called to a mobile home fire at 4:18 p.m. Saturday and arrived to find smoke and flames coming from the mobile home.
Crews quickly knocked down the fire with a hand-held hose and then used water supplied by Engine 17 to finish putting out the fire.

Three cats were pulled from the blaze, but one died. All the occupants of the mobile escaped with no injuries.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
