Services Set for Joanell Barco

Joanell Kay Hoyt Barco, 66, of Riverview, passed away on May 29.

She was born on Sept. 22, 1946 in Alma, MI to Milton and Betty Jean Hoyt.

Joanell loved to spend time with her family, cook and was member of Messenger’s Voice Ministries. She was a friend to everyone she met.

She is preceded in death by her son, Joseph C. Ward, and sister, Wendy Williams.

Joanell is survived by her husband of 39 years, Irvin; daughters, Melissa J Hudson and her fiancé Bradley Fortner, and Jeana Jones and her husband Dennis; sisters, Sharon, Darlene and Kathy; brothers, Milton, Rick, Robert, Ronald and Timothy; grandchildren, Chad, Cassandra, Amy, Anthony, Joshua, Katie and Christian; great grandchildren, Ethan, Darrien, Jayden, Orion, Dedric, Gavin and soon-to-be-born, Khylee. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews and an extended loving family, as well as many friends, and her pastor and his wife, Michael and Donna Vinsick.

There will be a memorial service Monday, June 3 at 2 p.m. at the Messenger’s Voice Ministries, 7017 Gibsonton Dr., Riverview.
