Slots Available for National Flight Academy Summer Camp

The National Flight Academy, located in Pensacola, has limited scholarship opportunities left for its Ambition in-resident summer camp program for seventh- to 12th-graders to attend one 5 ½-day summer session this year. Slots are still available for the end of June session, taking place June 30-July 5; it should be noted that July sessions are filling up quickly. Dates for July programs include July 7-12, July 21-26 and July 28-August 2.

The scholarship application is available online at www.nationalflightacademy.com/scholarship and is open to all youth who have not received an NFA scholarship in the past and who will enter seventh to 12th grade for school year 2013-2014.

Attendees will live aboard the virtual aircraft carrier, Ambition, where they will experience an immersive, aviation-based adventure that is revolutionizing STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering & Mathematics) education. It starts with an immersive, aviation-based story that weaves STEM learning objectives with important 21st century skills including critical thinking, problem solving, teamwork and communication.  It all leads to an unparalleled learning experience for our leaders of tomorrow.
