COVID-19 Testing Sites' Holiday Schedule In Hillsborough: County

HILLSBOROUGH COUNTY — Coronavirus testing sites across Hillsborough County will have its schedules impacted by the holidays.

All public testing sites will be closed Dec. 24 to 27, and Jan. 1 to 3, according to county officials.

Hillsborough County's Coronavirus Testing and Information Line, (888)513-6321, will remain open 24/7 during the holidays for general questions related to COVID-19, but will not be available to make testing appointments on Dec. 24 to 25, or Jan. 1.

The holiday schedule for testing sites is listed below:

Vance Vogel Sports Complex, 13012 Bullfrog Creek, Riverview

William Owen Pass Sports Complex, 1300 Sydney Dover Road, Dover

(Appointments are required at the above mentioned sites.)

• Wed., Dec. 22 — Open
• Thurs., Dec. 24 through Dec. 27 — Closed
• Mon., Dec. 28 — Open
• Tues., Dec. 29 — Closed
• Wed., Dec. 30 —Open
• Thurs., Dec. 31 through Sun., Jan. 3 — Closed
• Normal schedule of Monday, Wednesday, and Friday resumes Monday, Jan. 4.

Hillsborough County urges residents to protect themselves and others from COVID-19 as they celebrate the holidays.

The county offers the following tips to limit exposure to coronavirus during the holidays:

• Wear face coverings when around others in public.
• Practice social distancing.
• Wash hands, use hand sanitizer and don't touch your face.
• Limit the size of gatherings.
• According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, the safest way to celebrate winter holidays is at home with the people who live with you.
