Donated School Supplies Have All Riverview Buildings Re-Stocked

The Greater Riverview Chamber of Commerce donated supplies to all 28 Riverview schools for the school year thanks to community sponsors.

BLOOMINGDALE-RIVERVIEW, FL — Teachers at Riverview schools got a warm welcome from the community during the 2020 annual Teaching to Excellence Event Re-Imagined as supplies were donated from community sponsors to their classrooms.

This year's event was held virtually Aug. 3-21 on the Teaching to Excellence Facebook page.

Each Riverview school was adopted by a Greater Riverview Chamber of Commerce partner through its Adopt-A-School program. Twenty-six sponsors donated supplies to help support teachers and students at the chosen school each sponsor adopted.
