Public Meeting to Discuss Drainage Improvements

Hillsborough County is holding a public hearing to discuss proposed drainage improvements along Dyer Road south of Riverview Drive to improve roadway flooding issues.


The meeting will take place Monday, April 22 at 6:30 p.m. at the Riverview Civic Center, 11020 Park Dr., Riverview.


Improvements include adding stormwater culverts and inlets along the road to direct the water to the Alafia River, and regrading portions of the ditches along the road.

The project will cost approximately $330,000 and is expected to begin in late summer.


Staff will be in attendance at the meeting to answer questions and receive public input.
