Extended Stay America Gibsonton Celebrates Opening
Extended Stay America Gibsonton, the hotel chain's 54th property in Florida, stands four floors tall and features 124 rooms.
GIBSONTON, FL —Extended Stay America Inc. announced the opening of it new, company-owned hotel in Gibsonton, the most recent hotel of its kind for the brand in more than 12 years.
Extended Stay America Gibsonton, the hotel chain’s 54th property in Florida, stands four floors tall and features 124 rooms, complimentary WiFi, free onsite parking, a gym, laundry room and a spacious lobby area for its free breakfast with additional vending options.
Similar to other Extended Stay America hotels, rooms include fully equipped kitchens with full-size refrigerators and cook tops. Suites include pillow-top beds, recliners and a spacious work space. All rooms also include high-speed Internet and television streaming capabilities.

“We are more than excited to expand our family and add yet another great location to our impressive collection of hotels in Florida,” said Jim Alderman, chief development officer for Extended Stay America. “This location complements our existing eight hotels in the Tampa-St. Pete metro area and provides guests with an affordable and comfortable place to stay in the southern portion of Hillsborough County proximate to many existing and new demand generators, creating an easy commute both north and south for guests visiting the area. Located at 10623 East Bay Road, just off Interstate 75, the hotel is part of a 30-acre development that is home to the 14-screen Goodrich Riverview 14 GDX movie theater, Gastropub, Zaxby's Chicken, Dunkin' Donuts and T-Mobile.

Also opening at the shopping center during the first quarter of 2020 will be a standalone 10,400-square-foot Cracker Barrel restaurant.
A separate 21,700-square-foot shopping center is home to NY Nails, the Dollar Tree and Four Stacks Brewing Co. of Apollo Beach's second location. The new Four Stacks location includes a 2,100-square-foot bar and a 2,000-square-foot outdoor beer garden.
A Rosemary Grill, serving Mediterranean cuisine, is slated to open next to Four Stacks Brewing, and Cricket Wireless and Flex Suites Business Center will be located in the plaza as well.
