Flood Warning Issued For Little Manatee River In South Hillsborough
The river is expected to rise 11.1 feet, a level last recorded in 1939.

WIMAUMA, FL — The National Weather Service Tampa Bay issued a flood warning just after 2 p.m. for the Little Manatee River at U.S. 301 in Wimauma.
Heavy rainfall from Tropical Storm Nicole has caused the level of the Little Manatee River to rise 6.7 feet and the water levels of the river are expected to continue rising, cresting at 11.1 feet on early Saturday, the highest the river has been since 1939.
The flood stage for the Little Manatee River is 11 feet.
