Girls Invited to GoGirlGo! Summer Camp

Here's your last chance this summer to get the Girls With Confidence camp experience.

Girls With Confidence will host a GoGirlGo! Summer Camp June 24-27 at Lamb of God Lutheran Church, 10540 Browning Rd., Lithia.

GoGirlGo! is an award-winning curriculum and sports education program that works to improve the health of sedentary and moderately active young girls.  

This camp will focus on building confidence in girls through: Nutrition, Body Image, Caring for Your body, Dealing with Difficult Feelings, Stress and Strong Body/Strong Mind and Building Confidence.

Each day. the girls will be introduced to one or two themes along with creative activities, discussions and outdoor activity. Girls will need to bring a snack and water bottle and will need to wear appropriate athletic wear and running shoes.

GoGirlGo! was established in 2001 by the Women's Sports Foundation founded by tennis legend Billie Jean King. The Women's Sports Foundation is dedicated to advancing the lives of girls and women through sports and physical activity.  

The camp, led by Tammy Wolf, will run Monday through Thursday from 9 a.m. to noon. Drop-off and sign-in is between 8:45-9:00 a.m. for parents who need to get to work. Pick-up and sign-out is between noon and 12:15 p.m.
