Main Event: Kids On Stage at St. Andrew's for Variety Show Fundraiser

The musical variety show features a cast of about 40 children actors raising money for a boy with cerebral palsy. Tickets are free; donations are accepted.

Megan Poole and about 40 friends are sharing their talents in a variety show to help raise money to buy a young boy with severe cerebral palsy new equipment that will help improve his quality of life.

Admission is free with donations appreciated.

The show is from 2 to 4:30 p.m. April 16 at in Brandon, 3315 Bryan Road. The church has frontage on Bloomingdale Avenue as well.

Poole, currently starring in the Stagedoor Performing Arts production of “Neverland,” is no stranger to the community theater stage and is directing and producing the variety show as a St. Andrew's confirmation community service project.

Come enjoy and hear songs from “Annie,” "Shrek the Musical,” "Jekyll and Hyde,” “Wicked,” "Addam's Family,” "Lion King,” “Dreamgirls” and more. Magician and comedian Vinnie Natale, a graduate of Bloomingdale High School, is  the emcee.
