Moped Driver Injured In Brandon Crash On State Road 60: Cops
Detectives investigated a wreck involving a scooter and a work van in the Brandon area Monday morning near Ware Boulevard.

HILLSBOROUGH COUNTY, FL — A moped driver of Tampa was seriously injured Monday morning when a van pulled in front of him on State Road 60 in Brandon, the Florida Highway Patrol said.
The 33-year-old scooter driver went westbound on SR 60 while the van driven by a 48-year-old Seminole man drove eastbound on SR 60. At about 9:10 a.m., the van did a legal U-turn on SR 60 at Ware Boulevard and pulled in front of the scooter who he did not see hitting him on the side, detectives said.
Medical staff last listed the Tampa man in serious condition, according to authorities. Driver of the van did not experience injuries.
