Motorcyclist Killed In Crash On Dale Mabry Highway

TAMPA, FL — An 18-year-old Odessa woman had died following a crash on Dale Mabry Highway Saturday night.

According to the Florida Highway Patrol, a 62-year-old Tampa woman was driving a Mazda 6 north on Dale Mabry Highway while the Odessa woman was riding a Kawasaki motorcycle south on Dale Mabry.

Troopers said the Mazda made a U-turn in the path of the motorcycle, crashing into it.

The motorcyclist was taken to the hospital where she later died. The Tampa woman was uninjured.
