As Hillsborough County Sheriff’s detectives continue to search for Alisa Summers, Crime Stoppers of Tampa Bay has stepped forward with a reward for information in the case.

According to the sheriff’s office, the search for Alisa, 37, began just after 9 p.m. on Saturday, March 11 when witnesses at the 5605 FishHawk Crossing Blvd. Walgreens reported seeing an adult woman screaming for help.

“The female appeared to have her hands tied behind her back,” an email from the sheriff’s office said. A man, witnesses reported, was forcing the woman into the vehicle. That vehicle has been described as a dark blue 2009 Saturn Outlook four-door SUV. It has Florida tag number GLHM32 on it.

The Saturn is registered to Alisa, the sheriff’s office said. The man who is believed to have taken her is her estranged husband, Trevor Steven Summers, 39.

“They are currently separated and Alisa went to Trevor Summers’ residence to talk about their marriage,” but never returned home, the sheriff’s office wrote in an Sunday email about the search for the couple. Alisa Summers resides in Valrico. Trevor lives in Riverview, the sheriff’s office noted.

Anyone who has seen Alisa, Trevor or the Saturn, or has other information in the case is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 1-80-873-TIPS or go online to www.crimestopperstb.com. A tip that leads to an arrest in the case could be worth up to $3,000.

No further information about the case is available at this time.
