BLOOMINGDALE — RIVERVIEW, FL — Hillsborough County drivers experienced long delays along Interstate-75 Thursday morning after a semi-truck overturned, the Florida Highway Patrol said. The semi-truck, driven by a 71-year-old man of Immokalee, and a car headed northbound to their destinations. Just south of Gibsonton Drive at about 12:34 a.m., the semi ran into the back of the car driven by a 46-year-old man of Dawsonville, Ga. Then the semi ran off the road and flipped over, troopers said. Lanes were closed until 6 a.m., investigators said. No serious injuries were endured during this wreck.
