Skaters, Live Music, Skate-Tricks At Concrete Jungle 10th Anniversary
A video showcasing skateboard talent for the past 10 years at Providence Skate Park will premiere Saturday at the afternoon celebration.

BLOOMINGDALE — RIVERVIEW, FL — Skaters, residents and local vendors will gather Saturday to celebrate the Providence Skate Park's 10-year-anniversary, a Hillsborough County news release said.
Skaters will perform tricks such as ollies and aerials at the county's oldest skatepark. A best-trick contest is scheduled for the celebration. Park staff will premiere a video showcasing the park's skateboarding talent over the past 10 years. Park-goers can enjoy live music, too.
Providence Skate Park is known as the "Concrete Jungle" and has 14,500 sq. ft. where beginner through professional level skaters can practice their craft. Some of the park's features include quarter pipes, a handrail, a pyramid, a step-up and various granite structures.

Saturday's event starts at 1 p.m. at Providence Skate Park, 5720 Providence Rd., Riverview. It's free and no pre-registration is required.
