'Tail Waggin' Tuesdays' Launches At Pet Resource Center

BLOOMINGDALE — RIVERVIEW, FL — "Tail Waggin' Tuesdays" has kicked off for the summer with the Hillsborough County Pet Resource Center.

If you have dogs that refuse to play well together, Rafael Fontan, an animal behaviorist, will explain how he operates playgroups, and manages different canine play styles to provide safe experiences for every dog at Pet Resource Center. His Facebook live segment is scheduled Tuesday, June 1 at 2 p.m. The segment following Fontan's is about stray animals.

PRC will show you the steps it takes when a stray pet arrives at the center's steps. A staff member will explain all the steps from intake to adoption. You'll also learn what safe actions you can take when you see a stray pet. This Facebook Live is scheduled Tuesday, June 15 at 2 p.m.

The last of the FB live segments will focus on kitty season and the importance of waiting until 8. PRC said it expects a lot of cats and kittens to come through its doors of the shelter during cat season. PRC will explain how they care for cats and kittens in the shelter. This is scheduled June 29 at 2 p.m.
