Teen Seriously Injured In Riverview Hit-And-Run

The Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office needs help locating a driver involved in a Tuesday hit-and-run crash in Riverview.

RIVERVIEW, FL — The Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office is asking for help locating a driver accused of striking a teenager in Riverview early Tuesday morning.

According to the agency, Attraya Debony Woodberry, 16, was walking west on the south shoulder of Park Drive around 5:48 a.m. March 7. She was on her way to the HART bus stop at U.S. 301 and Balm Riverview Road when a westbound truck hit her and fled the scene, an email from the sheriff’s office said.

Woodberry, a student at Catapult Academy, was taken to Tampa General Hospital with serious, but not life threatening injuries, the sheriff’s office said.

“During the course of the investigation, vehicle parts found at the scene were identified by a local Ford dealership as belonging to a 2005 Ford F-250 XLT, possibly green in color,” the email said.
